Pongam
Wondering. Wandering. Finding.Why pongam

After debating on writing a blog for ages, I finally decided to get myself one.
I am a woman, thirty years old and I live in Bangalore. After many, many months of hibernation I finally decided to get out among the people. And what better way than to get myself a new name and enter the virtual world!
This is a place I am going to use to look at myself honestly and take something positive out of every reflection. Many, many things move me and I have much to say about them all. So you’ll find posts on a range of topics.
Pongam is one of my favourite trees. And if I had to be born as a tree I would choose to be a Pongam. I think it’s one of the friendliest and most beautiful of trees.
Thanks for coming by.

It’s been more than a year since that was written. Pongam is now thirty one years old. She still lives in Bangalore, but has managed to begin travelling out again. She has found it hard to keep the blog going, especially since she quit The Company.
Pongam, these days, spends her time trying to breathe life into her living. She’s pursuing the arts and trying to get really involved with her body, breath and her computer.
Thanks for coming by.

Pongam has a human face. In another life I’d want to be a toothless old woman selling malli poo outside the Madurai Meenakshi temple and my name will be Pongam Malli Poowearing Iyer.
